Meet Lizzy Cooper, MSW
Chef + Founder
I started The Fertility Foods Chef with other women in mind—wanting to support them through what can be a challenging process—whether that’s going through fertility treatments or trying to conceive. After freezing my own eggs, I realized that I had received zero information in the several months before my retrieval about how to eat in order to optimize my egg health for the most successful outcome. And thus began my research.
As a private chef, I know how nutrition can optimize my clients’ health. So I started to examine the most up-to-date and reliable scientific studies on how a pro-fertility diet can improve egg and sperm quality. And what I found again and again, was a need to change the conversation surrounding the importance of a proper diet in improving fertility and leading to higher IVF and pregnancy success rates.
I created The Fertility Foods Chef with a lot of understanding and a lot of love, which I hope you will taste with each bite.

Meet Dara Godfrey
Registered Dietitian
Dara Godfrey is a registered dietitian in private practice in Manhattan. At Reproductive Medicine Associates (RMA) of New York Dara supports patients’ nutritional goals at every stage of infertility treatment and pregnancy, including pre-treatment health and weight loss, prenatal nutrition, and pregnancy nutrition during each trimester.
Dara, a native of Toronto, graduated with a BS in Food & Nutrition at the University of Western Ontario and obtained her RD and Masters in Nutrition at NYU. Dara spent several years at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan where she led a Weight Management Support Group, counseling patients in prenatal, bariatric and gastrointestinal nutrition.
Dara is a blog contributor for Body By Simone and RMA of New York, and has been featured in videos on such sites as Fertility Authority and CafeMom. She has also contributed to articles in The Daily News, Self Magazine, Cospmopolitan, HERS, and blogs such as Fitness NYC and The Sweat Life.
